evyve has stepped up the sustainability credentials of its nationwide electric vehicle charging network, through a new supply contract with Ecotricity, Britain's greenest energy company, to power its expanding network of over 350 rapid and ultra-rapid charge points with 100% renewable energy.

The agreement will see Ecotricity power evyve's rapid and ultra-rapid chargers, ensuring that every charge delivered through the evyve network is powered by REGO-backed renewable energy. This move reinforces the electric vehicle charging network owner and operator’s commitment to sustainable transport and ensures EV drivers can charge with confidence, knowing their journey is powered by clean energy.

With nearly 500,000 BEVs sold in the UK in 2025, the demand for both high-speed charging and genuinely green energy is surging. As evyve accelerates its rollout towards 1,000 rapid and ultra-rapid charge points by 2028, this partnership with Ecotricity ensures that the environmental benefits of electric vehicles are maximised as evyve expands its network.

The collaboration highlights both companies' shared commitment to replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy and supporting the UK's transition to net zero transport.
